But what does that even mean?
Prior accreditation is required for public bodies, courts or large organisations. Like the rest of the world, this is no different in Spain. After all, building expert reports usually involve exchanging a lot of money. Therefore, expertise and experience are what are needed for a formal certification.
In addition to our many years of practical experience, membership of the following certifies our professionalism:
- Malaga College of Architects (COA)
- Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the world’s leading professional body for qualified surveyors
- Federal Association of German Surveyors and Specialist Valuers (BDSF)
In addition, we have been recognised by the Banco de España (Arquitasa) as valuers for Spanish real estate since 2010; we have been accredited in Spain as building surveyors in court since 2011 and have also been registered as mediators for family, civil and corporate law with the Spanish Ministry of Justice since 2015.
Because competence matters: bühler & partners.
As the term “expert” or “valuer” is not protected, you should pay particular attention to qualifications if you want to hire a real estate professional in Spain.
With us, you can expect maximum competence. We have been working as experts in Spain since 1996. We prepare real estate, building and damage appraisals. We have the added advantage that we have also worked as architects in the Iberian Peninsula for many years.
